A recent report revealed the tragic demise of a driver following a devastating incident on Thursday along Highway 410, heading westbound towards Montreal, at km 12 near Lennoxville. The collision involved a 53-foot truck and a pickup, with one of the vehicles crossing the median and colliding with the other. Regrettably, the driver of one of the vehicles succumbed to their injuries after being rushed to the hospital.
The aftermath of the accident led to the closure of a segment of the highway during rush hour, causing significant disruptions to traffic flow, as confirmed by auditors. However, the road was eventually reopened around 8:15 p.m., according to the SQ. Furthermore, Urgence-Environnement was summoned to the scene due to a diesel spill associated with the collision.
