Michael Allison Death – Michael Allison of Burlington, Ohio, and Chief Administrative Officer at Burlington Stores, Inc. has sadly passed away. He was announced dead by his family through a social media publication on Monday, August 14th, 2023, that says “It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected and tragic passing of my father, Michael Robert Allison.” The cause of his death was not made public by the family at the time of this report.

Who was Michael Allison?

Michael Robert Allison, who was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, earned a sociology bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University. The Vice President of his class, the President of the Legal Aid Society, the Vice President of the Delta, Alpha, and Theta fraternities, and a member of the varsity football team, Michael was heavily involved in campus life. Mike graduated from The Ohio State University with a doctorate in law. He keeps his Ohio legal license in good standing.

When BancOhio was bought by National City Bank, he began his legal career there as an associate counsel. He prepared and presented cases before state and federal agencies and courts as a specialist in labor and employment law. The positions of Assistant Vice President/Counsel, Vice President/Counsel, and Senior Vice President/Senior Counsel were all attained by him promptly.

About Michael Allison

At the CEO’s request, Mike moved into human resources to help National City combine two financial companies it had recently bought. After that, he transferred to a bigger bank, Bank One, where he oversaw the HR department for one of the biggest affiliate banks. Michael joined Victoria’s Secret Direct where he supervised HR for the call centers and oversaw Compensation and Benefits after working on a number of integrations in the banking sector.

He was given the opportunity to advance to the position of head of human resources, where he was in charge of all facets of the HR department and had control over all activities in New York City and Columbus, Ohio. In order to join Office Depot, Michael relocated to South Florida in quest of a position with a large corporation.

Michael Allison’s Achievement

Mike was first in charge of providing HR assistance for all corporate departments before being elevated to the position of Chief Human Resource Officer, where he was ultimately in charge of all facets of HR in 52 countries at its height. Mike, who has served on the boards of the Columbus YMCA, the Dayton Boys & Girls Club, the Dayton Urban League, and the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, has always believed it is important to give back to the community.

In South Florida, he presided over the American Youth Football League. He and his wife live in South Florida, where he was appointed to the Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority in June 2019. The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 25th, 2023, from 12:30 to 3:00 PM at Church by the Glades in Coral Springs, Florida.
