Maxwell Roberts Death – The body of Maxwell Roberts, a missing Utah man found dead. According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, a man from Utah who was 20 years old died on Friday after he went spearfishing and freediving in the ocean off the coast of Martin County. According to the Chief Deputy of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, John Budensiek, Maxwell Roberts and four other people were in a boat approximately two and a half miles offshore from the St. Lucie Inlet when the event occurred.

He stated that the sheriff’s marine section was made aware of the missing diver, who was identified as Roberts, just before 11 in the morning, and that a “massive search” was initiated as a result. According to Budensiek, the four individuals told him that their buddy “had free dove into the water with a spear gun, fins, and a mask and had not resurfaced in a timely manner.”
On Friday afternoon, a sizable force of sheriff’s authorities and Martin County Fire Rescue officials, along with their cars, stayed at Sandsprit Park, which is where the centre console boat that the five guys had been out on was kept. While speaking at Sandsprit, Budensiek mentioned that Roberts is originally from Utah but now calls Vero Beach his vacation home.
According to him, a dive crew with Martin County Fire Rescue located him in water that was approximately 55 feet deep. Men who are thought to have been aboard the boat or associated to the group have declined to comment. According to Budensiek, the five individuals were friendly with one another, and it seemed as though they were all in good physical health. They were not using scuba tanks but rather engaging in free diving instead.
According to him, it is unclear why Roberts was unable to return to the surface of the water. He stated that an autopsy will be performed despite the fact that it seemed like the occurrence was an accident.
