Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends as well as to the men and women in our City of Dunn offices who have worked with Mathew so closely over the past five years.” they said “Mr. Boone began his career with the City of Dunn as assistant city manager on Sept. 24, 2018 after working seven years as the senior planner for the City of Raleigh Community Development and five years in Raleigh’s inspection as their housing/environmental inspector. Boone was a resident of Knightdale. where he lived with his family until the time of his death. He was a graduate of North Wesleyan University, where he studied law and earned a degree. Piper, Cannon, and Carter, Matthew’s three stunning children, are the only people he leaves behind. Matthew is survived by his wife Michelle, whom he has been married to for more than 13 years.
