Matt Temchatin Death – Hazleton Area High School Alumnus Matt Temchatin of Drums, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 26th October 2023 leaving family and friends heartbroken. He was confirmed dead through a Facebook post that says “This past Thursday, I lost a great friend. I still can’t believe it’s true and my heart is broken for all who knew and loved Matt Temchatin , especially his wife Missy. Melissa Bixler Temchatin Max, and Molly… Matt and I have coached our daughters for the last 5 years”. The actual cause of Matt Temchatin’s death has not been released.

Matt Temchatin Education and Career

Matt Temchatin attended Bishop Hafey High School and later went to Hazleton Area High School. Between 1997 to 2001, he went on to attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where he earned Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Mass Communication/Media Studies. He was a Cvs Assistant Manager at CVS Pharmacy located in Greater Philadelphia Area for 2 years and 8 months from February 2004 to Sep 2006. He was a Senior Account Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. situated in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania for 5 years and 3 months from October 2006 to December 2011.

He was a Account Manager at Coca-Cola European Partners for 5 years and 8 months from January 2012 to August 2017. He was a Sales Account Manager at ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages in Pittston, Pennsylvania. He was a Owner and curator at Hip Hop Autographs. He was a dedicated Junior High Basketball Coach at Hazleton Area School District.

Matt Temchatin GoFundMe

A GoFundMe account has been created by Irelyn Jannuzzi on Saturday 28th October 2023 in order to solicit for help to financially support the deceased family with Matt Temchatin’s funeral and memorial. The  goal of the fundraiser was set to raise the sum of $50,000 but as at the time this report was made the sum of $3,670 has been raised with the help of 24 generous individuals.

A statement from the account says “Our basketball community and family has been hit with a huge loss. Matt Temchatin will never be forgotten or replaced. To everyone’s shock and dismay, Matt passed away suddenly on Thursday. His family and friends were blindsided and devastated. He leaves behind his loving wife Missy and their children Max (13) and Molly (12)”.
