Loraine ISD Death, Student allegedly died by suicide after being bullied in November 2023

Loraine ISD Death – The Loraine ISD is currently investigating a tragic incident that happened today, November 29th, 2023 in Loraine, Texas. A student from Loraine Independent School District reportedly died by suicide. It was reported that the student took their life to end being bullied.

Colorado ISD released the following statement:

“We stand in solidarity with Loraine. As our neighbors, our friends, and our Mitchell County family, we offer prayers and support as they navigate this extremely difficult time. #LoraineStrong #WeAreMitchellCounty.”

While announcing the passing of the student, a social media user said it’s heartbreaking that someone has to take their life to end being bullied. The user also said the district needs to do better to prevent this from happening within its District.

“The no-tolerance bullying policy is a complete joke,” the user added. Parents need to do better and need to be held accountable for their child(ren). Prayers and support are being offered to Loraine ISD as they navigate this extremely difficult time.
