Larry Schuberg Death – Larry Schuberg, a resident of Big Rapids, Michigan, and Big Rapids Cardinal Hockey Coach has sadly passed away. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “The kindest and most giving guy to so many: family, friends, athletes, anyone. There are no words. We all love you and surround you with our support and prayers, Schuberg Family. Rest in heaven, Larry.”
Who was Larry Schuberg?
Larry Schuberg was a native of Reed City, Michigan, and Big Rapids Cardinal Hockey Coach. He was a dedicated husband to his wife Lisa and a loving father to his two wonderful children Caiden and Cooper. Larry has been involved with the Rocket Football program for several years. He has touched the lives of so many of his community’s youth and his legacy will carry on through them both on and off the field.
He was the best running back to come out of Big Rapids. Larry impacted so many people as a coach or with his welcoming, do anything to help someone else personality. His love for family, friends, community and Big Rapids area sports was incredible. His relationship with his players and parents was the definition of team and family. Apart from coaching the youths, Larry was an avid fisherman.
Tribute to Larry Schuberg
Larry Schuberg passed away yesterday and our community lost a hometown hero. Larry was like the big brother I never had. He was always positive and a rock for myself and our family.
I had the opportunity to coach football and baseball with him. It was some of the most fun I have had coaching. His relationship with his players and parents was the definition of team and family.
I idolized him when I was young watching him truck opponents on the football field. I would argue, at the time, Larry was the best running back to come out of Big Rapids!
You are already missed by all those you have touched. In writing this I just want to say thank you and I love you one more time.
Each day is a gift, a blessing, and a chance to live life like Larry.
