Kirk Rygol Fort Mill SC, Former Broadway High School Football Player has died

Kirk Rygol Jr Death – Former Broadway High School Football Player Kirk Rygol of Fort Mill, South Carolina has sadly passed away. He died on Sunday 10th Decemeber 2023 leaving those that knew him in shock. He was announced dead by his father through a Facebook post that reads “It is with a heavy heart we are writing this. Tamara and I are in total shock and unbelief that our beloved son, Kirk, Jr, passed away late Sunday afternoon” The cause of Kirk Rygol’s cause of death has not been revealed.

Kirk Rygol Career

During his senior year at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina, he exhibited remarkable abilities by throwing for more than 3,000 yards and securing 36 touchdowns. He was a standout. In addition to that, he demonstrated his versatility by rushing for more than 500 yards and scoring five touchdowns. The high school football scene was forever changed by his presence, as evidenced by the fact that he was named to the second team of all-conference players and received the district Player of the Year award.

During his sophomore year, he continued to demonstrate his remarkable abilities by throwing for more than 2,000 yards and scoring 19 touchdowns. As a result, he was selected to the second team of all-state players. His abilities and achievements garnered a lot of attention, which ultimately led to him enrolling at North Greenville University in 2017.

He made a remarkable debut for the Crusaders in one of their games as a freshman, during which he completed one of his one passes for nine yards and carried the ball three times for a total of sixteen yards. At the end of the season, the squad finished with a record of 4-6. The next step in his path was to pursue his education at ASA College in Brooklyn, New York, from which he left in 2018. Over the course of the 2018 season, he was a member of the Avengers at this NJCAA Division I institution, which competed in Region XV and the Northeast Football Conference. He received a redshirt opportunity.

He had a huge influence in his debut season at South Florida in 2019, which was his first year there. In the course of the season, he participated in five different games, during which he completed a total of twelve passes for a total of 170 yards and two touchdowns. The total number of times he ran on the ground was nine, and he gained a total of 29 yards. Notable highlights included a touchdown pass that went for 33 yards and was thrown in a victory over UCONN that was 48-22.

His celebration of life service will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Palmetto Funeral Home in Fort Mill, SC.
