Kierra Reichert Death – 19-year-old Kierra Reichert, passed away this week, after a tragic car accident. According to the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received reports of a collision on July 18 at approximately 11:30 p.m. First responders discovered a Toyota Camry on its roof containing four occupants.
Two males and two women in their twenties were rescued from the debris. Reichert was pronounced dead at the scene, and both the other woman and the motorist sustained severe spinal and neck injuries. The fourth passenger was evaluated for injuries and released at the Aero Methow station.
She was described as a magnetic teen, whip-smart and driven, caring, hard-working, empathetic, a loyal friend, an admirable big sister, and a ferociously loving daughter. Kierra was the kind of teenager who gave me faith in the future. Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in the incident, which is still under investigation. The case involved a request for assistance from the Washington State Patrol.

In the midst of their grief, they characterize her beautiful soul as spontaneous, uninhibited, a free spirit, willing to try anything, goofy, and someone who never held back. Her teachers remember her as an exceptionally intelligent, diligent, and self-disciplined student.
Kierra had high standards, which she met through her own motivation. She was an intrepid and skilled athlete who skied, hiked, and ran in Alaska and the Methow Valley.
Kierra enjoyed riding horses. This arena brought together her affection for animals, her fortitude, and her determination. Her generous nature and magnetic personality left an impression on everyone she met. For many years to come, her absence will be keenly felt.
