He died on Saturday 9th December 2023 leaving family, friends and patient devastated. He was confirmed dead through a post shared on Facebook that says “It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Kevy Wijaya, cherished Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and the Owner and Director of Stepping Stone Pediatrics. He departed from this world on December 9, 2023”.
Kevy Wijaya Education and Career
Kevy Wijaya completed his undergraduate studies at Arkansas Tech University from 2004 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology and Chemistry. Following this, he pursued advanced education at Yale University, obtaining a Master of Science (MSN) degree in Pediatrics in 2011. Between 2018 and 2021, he furthered his academic journey at The University of Edinburgh, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Global Health & Infectious Diseases. From 2011 to 2013, Kevy Wijaya served as a Primary Care Provider at Healthy Future Pediatrics in Olympia, Washington.
Subsequently, he worked as an Advanced Practice Provider in the Emergency Department at Seattle Children’s for a year, from 2013 to 2014. His dedication to education led him to become a Lecturer at Bellevue College, where he contributed for 6 years and 9 months starting in April 2017. Later, he took on the role of Partner & Principal Primary Care Provider at Stepping Stone Pediatrics in Bellevue, Washington.
