Murder-suicide Pittsburgh – A murder-suicide that appears to have occurred on Friday in Green Tree resulted in the deaths of two males. At approximately six o’clock in the evening, Allegheny County police stated that they were informed of a shooting that took place at a residence located on Woodridge Drive. A man who had been shot in the chest was discovered by first responders who arrived at the scene.

At the local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the man was taken by the police to be treated. According to the authorities, the suspect, who was a relative of the victim, was still present inside the residence. When Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) arrived at the location, they discovered the suspect dead from a gunshot wound that he had inflicted on himself, as stated by law enforcement. The event is currently being investigated by the police.
Both men were later determined to be Kristen B. Smith Jr., who was forty years old, and Kevin Benjamin Smith, who was 38 years old.
