Kerri Roger Death – John Jay High School Alumna and Wappingers Central School District teacher Kerri Roger of Hopewell Junction New York has sadly passed away. She died leaving her family, friends and the entire community. She was confirmed dead through a post that says “Our family is saddened by the loss of Kerri Roger, who coached John Jay field hockey when Catherine was in high school, taught math, and became a friend to our family. Rest in peace, Coach Roger”. No cause of death was mentioned.

Originally from Hopewell Junction, Kerri now calls Poughkeepsie, NY, her home. She earned her high school diploma in 1997 from John Jay High School. The next year, in 2001, she graduated from State University of New York at Geneseo. She exemplifies a caring nature that has no bounds, whether she’s coaching field hockey or teaching high school. Her dedication to her students and athletes, along with her enthusiasm for teaching, makes the classroom a positive place for development.
She makes her classroom a place where students feel appreciated and motivated by sharing her real passion for the subject and her contagious energy. Kerri’s approach to the classroom is characterized by enthusiasm for learning, originality, and interactive exercises.
