Kelsey Martin of Saint John, New Brunswick died at age 27, Family mourns her death

Kelsey Martin Death – Kelsey Martin, beloved daughter and indigene of Saint John, New Brunswick has sadly passed away. She died on Wednesday 28th June 2023 at the age of 27. She was confirmed dead through various publication made on Facebook by family and friends who will forever miss her. The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of Kelsey Martin’s death has not been released at the time this report was made. She was born on November 29th, 1995, in Saint John, she is the daughter of Kevin Martin (Amber) of Nerepis and Natalie Shannon (Matt) of Saint John.
Who was Kelsey Martin?
Kelsey’s compassionate demeanor stood out as one of the most notable characteristics of her personality. She brings a sense of tranquility and peace to every interaction, which allows everyone around her to relax and be at ease in any circumstance. Whether she was assisting a colleague with a task or simply having a discussion, Kelsey’s calm demeanor, soft-spoken voice, and unobtrusive gestures produced an ambiance that was conducive to relaxation. She was also known for her remarkable capacity for long-suffering and patience.
She was aware that everyone moves at their own speed, and as a result, she never pushes other people or tries to force them to fit into her schedule. People are able to express themselves to their fullest potential and feel validated in their views and feelings thanks to her ability to listen intently without interrupting. Most importantly, her outgoing and personable personality makes her a delight to spend time with.
Along with her parents, Kelsey is survived by her sons Ezra and Eliot; brother Cody Shannon (Jessica) of Shearwater, NS; sister Brianna Martin (Mike) of Rothesay; maternal grandparents Donna and Gary Shannon; special friend Brittany; as well as many friends. Kelsey was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Kay and Leo Martin and her maternal grandmother Ruth Shannon.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506-646-2424). A private visitation, by invitation only, will be held on Tuesday, July 4th from 12 to 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Fundy chapel beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Kelsey may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
