Judy Febbraro Death – 76-year-old Shaler Township resident Judy Febbraro has died on Wednesday. She passed away in her home on the 16th of August, 2023. She was Carmelo’s devoted wife before she was pronounced dead. She worked as the cafeteria manager at Oakland Catholic High School for many years. After about 40 years of service at OC and Saint Paul Cathedral High School, Judy took her retirement in June of this past year. She was cherished by each and every one of the tens of thousands of pupils that she taught.

Maria (Kaivon) Maknoon, Nino Febbraro, and Maria (Kaivon) Febbraro, (Colleen), and Frank; loving grandma of Andrew (Colleen), Nicholas (Frank), and Sister of Mary Alice; mother of Dante, Isabella, Michael, Olivia, and Vincent Castelli, (later Anthony) and Martorelli, James (Margie); and The late Julius and Mae Ross’s daughter. After managing for almost 40 years, Judy decided to retire.
After managing the cafeterias at Oakland Catholic and Saint Paul Cathedral High Schools for close to 40 years, Judy recently called it quits. The thousands of pupils she taught will always remember her, affectionately, as “Miss Judy,” for her infectious smile, cheerful demeanor, and famous cookies. Judy valued her friends and family, upholding customs, and preparing delicious Sunday dinners.
Judy was a caring and selfless friend who put the needs of others above her own. On Sunday between 1 and 6 p.m., friends will be received at the office of John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc., 4900 Centre Avenue, at Devonshire Street. Monday, in St. Raphael Church in St. Jude Parish, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial. 10a.m.
Followed by interment at Mt. Royal Cemetery. Judy’s devotion to her Catholic faith was unwavering.
