Joseph Roomes Death – Orlando Lockheed Martin system engineer Joseph Roomes has sadly passed away. He died after a tragic car accident leaving family and friends in shock and disbelief. He was confirmed dead on Friday 17th November 2023 through a Facebook post that reads “Dear Beloved Roomes Family, It with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Joseph Roomes, son of Donald and Sandra Roomes. Joseph was also a proud member of the third generation of the Roomes family, also known as Gen. 3”.

Joseph Roomes Education

Joseph Roomes pursued his education at the University of Central Florida from 2012 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aerospace Engineering. During his undergraduate years, he served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Duke Energy Corporation (UCF) in Oelando, Florida, from January 2014 to August 2014. Following his academic endeavors, Joseph gained diverse professional experiences. He worked as a Shift Manager at Plato’s Closet for a duration of one year and seven months, from October 2014 to April 2016.

Subsequently, he took on the role of a Teaching Assistant at the Duke University Talent Identification Program for three months, spanning June 2016 to August 2016. Continuing his journey, Joseph served as a Student Assistant at UCF Library LibTech for ten months, starting from August 2016 and concluding in May 2017.

Joseph Roomes Career

His engineering skills were further honed during a two-month Engineering Internship at Barfield Inc in Miami, Florida, from May 2017 to June 2017. In this role, he assessed equipment and tooling capabilities, designed CAD models using SOLIDWORKS, and facilitated communication between engineers and mechanics through support of the equipment and tooling inventory system. Joseph then transitioned into the role of a Field Services Engineer at Siemens, dedicating a year and nine months from July 2017 to March 2019.

Following this, he assumed the position of a System Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, where he contributed for four years and four months from April 2019 to July 2023. Joseph’s outstanding performance led to his promotion to the role of a Senior System Engineer at Lockheed Martin.
