Johndan Johnson-Eilola Death – Johndan Johnson-Eilola, a Professor of Communication, Media & Design at Clarkson University has reportedly passed away, he was published interdisciplinary research integrating work from fields as diverse as design, communication, labor theory, art, and architecture.
Johnson-Eilola authored and edited over fifty journal papers and book chapters in addition to writing seven books. These works include two textbooks. His investigation also focuses on the design procedures utilized by experts and amateurs in a variety of fields, spanning from business to electronic music, among others.
Research and writing on the consequences and affordances of physical venues for knowledge labor, such as computer labs, studios, and makerspaces, are also among Johndan’s areas of expertise. His work has been recognized with prizes from the Association for Teachers of Technical Writing and has received funding from organizations such as Apple Computer, Ford Motor Company, and the National Endowment for the Arts, amongst others.
