John Liston Fremont NE, Talented pickleball player died at 65

John Liston Death – John Liston who loved being on the golf course and playing pickleball has died suddenly. He was announced dead on Monday, the 11th of December 2023. John David Liston of Fremont, Nebraska passed away at the age of 65. So far, no official news on his cause of death has been released. Thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

About John Liston

John was a man who loved life and devoted his whole existence to serving as a mentor and sharing his Christian faith with others. During his time at Lifegate, he was highly active in helping both God and other people at the local church he attended. He found that working in agricultural sales was a rewarding experience since it allowed him to interact with farmers and get to know them.

Both going on the golf course and playing pickleball were two of his favorite activities. The time he spent with his wife, his two dogs, and their six horses was something he cherished. The things that he loved the most were his children and the time he spent with his grandkids.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Ruth Liston (Meier), brother, James Liston, and a son.

Survived By

He is survived by his children, Victoria & Matt Tomanek (Papillion, NE), Valerie & Nick Prenzlow (Arlington, NE), Adam & Mandi Liston (Fremont, NE) and Alex & Brandy Liston (Elkhorn, NE), his wife, Kathy Liston (Fremont, NE), sister, Joan Licht (Hooper, NE), stepson, Jason Hinds (Beaumont, TX) and grandchildren, Brenna & David Prenzlow, Ella, Lane, Kyla & Cal Tomanek, Brooks, August, & Scarlett Liston, Lilly & Clayton Liston and step-granddaughter, Tristen Hinds.

John Liston Obituary

Family will be available for visitation at Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025 on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM. Celebration of life service will be held following visitation Sunday, at 3:00 PM, at Lifegate Church 2407 N Colorado Ave, Fremont, NE 68025.
