Joan Germann Death – Joan Germann has passed away suddenly. She was confirmed dead on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. She died leaving the hearts of many scarred after learning of her sudden death. According to reports, she died after a short battle with Cancer.

After graduating from St. Mary’s High School, Joan continued her education at Wilfred Laurier University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After that, she attended the Ontario Teacher College and earned a Bachelor of Education degree from there

Who was Joan Germann?

Over the course of her 42-year career with the Waterloo District Catholic School Board, Joan was a much-loved elementary school educator for more than one thousand of her pupils. Her heart’s desire was to see each and every kid achieve academic success, particularly in the areas of reading and mathematics.

It brought her great satisfaction to watch each of her students develop during the course of the year that she taught them. Additionally, she enjoyed coaching the girls’ basketball team at the school and was successful in leading them to several titles.

Tom and Joan were high school sweethearts who married in July 1979. Since then, they have enjoyed taking their family on vacations to many different wonderful spots, notably to Myrtle Beach and Port Charlotte, which are both located in Florida. Joan cherished the time she got to spend with her family and friends during the summers at their cottage on Francis Lake.

During those times, you might frequently find her speeding around the water on her Sea-Doo. Joan had great pleasure in playing host to get-togethers at her house in Mannheim; if you attended one of these occasions, you could bet on delicious cuisine and a good time. She has recently found great joy in doting on her grandkids and making Lego creations. Her kind spirit and warm heart will be sorely missed by everyone.

Joan Germann obituary and funeral plans

Joan’s family will welcome relatives and friends on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. On Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark Roman Catholic Parish, 55 Driftwood Drive. The reception will take place in the church hall. Woodland Cemetery is where he was laid to rest.
