I was always welcomed with a “hey sweet” and a big bear hug. He told the best stories and I like to think I learned a thing or two from him too. To the Flanagan family, y’all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”

He was an avid hunter. He helped a lot young people on the shooting team through the years. He was a great person, good scout master, great joke teller, and a true friend. He was described by those closed to him as a true life long friend, a high school classmate who enjoyed life.

His name became linked with dependability and drive, characteristics that reflected his attitude in both his personal and professional lives.

Thank you for all the time you spent with us as kids. We had some fun times in boy scouts and out at the farm. Going to miss reading all of your stories! RIP Mr Jerry Flanagan praying for the whole Flanagan family!”
