Jeff Luca, Twinsburg HS head Baseball coach died in car accident Pennsylvania

Jeff Luca Death – Jeff Luca, Twinsburg high school head baseball coach passed away following a motor vehicle accident in Pennsylvania. In a statement addressed to parents and guardians, Superintendent Kathi Powers confirmed the information.

Powers claims that the specifics of the collision have not been disclosed to the general public. It is his wife Jen and their three children that he leaves behind, one of whom is a sophomore at Twinsburg High School at the present time. It has been said by Powers that on Wednesday, counselors will be available to pupils at their respective schools. However, there has been no announcement made on the specifics of the burial arrangements for Luca.

Jeff Luca graduated from West Branch High School as well as the University of Akron, had previously worked as a member of the coaching staffs at UA, John Carroll, Akron North High School, and Solon. In 2006, he became a member of the coaching staff at Twinsburg, where he was coached by the great Don Jones. In the aftermath of Jones’ retirement at the conclusion of the 2018 season, Luca was elevated to the position of replacement. Under his leadership, the Tigers achieved a record of 54-41 over the subsequent four seasons (the 2020 season was canceled due to COVID-19).
