Jason Ogbomoh Death – Marietta Middle School Computer Science Teacher Jason Ogbomoh of Atlanta Georgia has died. He passed away on Saturday 11th November 2023 at the age of 25. He was confirmed dead on Sunday through a Facebook post that says “I’ve always been told that one of the hardest parts about getting older is losing friends. I’m so saddened to hear the news about Jason Ogbomoh”. The actual cause of Jason Ogbomoh’s death has not been released at this time.

Jason Ogbomoh Education

Jason completed his studies at The University of Georgia from 2016 to 2020, earning a degree in Biology with a focus on Neuroscience and Biological Sciences. Subsequently, he pursued further education at Georgia State University, with an expected completion date in December 2023. During his academic journey, Jason gained diverse experiences. He served as a Camp Counselor at ACWORTH, CITY OF for four months, from May 2019 to August 2019. Following this, he dedicated three years as a High School Science Teacher at Purpose Built Schools, contributing from August 2019 to September 2022.

Simultaneously, Jason immersed himself in research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Georgia – Franklin College of Arts and Sciences for four years and three months. In this role, he showcased proficiency in bioinformatics computing programming, focusing on temperature-dependent growth-rate analysis.

Jason Ogbomoh Career

His responsibilities included tracking and computing measurement data, as well as maintaining a comprehensive manuscript of computational scripts and methods to facilitate experiment reproducibility. Beyond academia, Jason assumed responsibilities as a Front Desk Assistant at The University of Georgia. In this capacity, he managed crises, enforced administrative policies, composed extensive reports on student conduct, and maintained various aspects of the housing community. Additionally, he worked as a Data Analyst at Microsoft Power Platform Community.

Jason’s commitment to education extended beyond traditional classrooms. As a Teacher For America alum, he served as a computer science instructor and coach for the GA Technology Student Association. Under his guidance, students achieved multiple state awards in data science, tech design, and digital photography. Furthermore, Jason taught computer science at MMS for two years, contributing to the academic growth of his students.
