Jared Burns was the beloved husband of Jennifer Lynn (Martin) and the cherished father of Ashlynn and Avery Burns. He was born in 1981 to Jerry and Faye Burns and Carl and Carolyn Martin. Jared was the brother of Julie (Les) Leck, the late Jessica Burns, and Kristy Martin (Jeremy Winter).

He was also a Loving and cherished uncle to Luke, Ben, William, Quintin, Julia, and Joseph. Also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and his companion Smokey.

Jared seamlessly balanced corporate excellence and public service, dedicating himself to Vollmer Inc. in Windsor while also serving as a selfless firefighter at Essex Fire and Rescue Service. His work showcased a strong work ethic and professionalism, reflecting his commitment to making a positive impact in both the corporate and public spheres.

Visitation will be held at Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow, ON on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church 120 Munger St. E Harrow, on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m.
