He was announced dead on Friday 18th August 2023 through a post made on Facebook that reads “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Club member Jackie Kirkpatrick (Hifty). Jackie has been involved with our Youth for a number of years, helping out Ricky, Bertie & Tom with what is now our u18s”. The actual cause of his death has not been known.
