Jack Degnan Death – Jack Degnan, a resident of Irvington, New York, and an Account Executive at Essity in Westchester County has sadly passed away. He was announced dead through a social media publication by his beloved wife Noreen Byrne Degnan on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023. The circumstances surrounding his cause of death were not made public by the family, meanwhile on his wife early on Wednesday post on Facebook asking for prayers for Jack.

Who was Death Jack Degnan?

Jack Degnan, who attended Archbishop Stepinac High School from 1974 to 1978 was a native of Dobbs Ferry, New York, according to his social media profile. He studied at Manhattan College from 1978 to 1982 where he graduated with a B.A. in English Literature. Jack worked as a Production Director at Ziff Davis Enterprise from 1989 to 2007 and also worked as a Professional Sales Representative at the Edward Don & Company from 2008 to 2015 in NYC.

Prior to his work as an Account Executive at Essity in Westchester County, New York, he worked as a District Sales Manager at Wausau Paper from 2015 to 2022. He was a caring and dedicated husband to his wife Noreen Byrne Degnan and a loving father to his Kevin Degnan, Sean Degnan, and Kelly Degnan. Jack celebrated his 63rd Birthday on October 2nd and together with his wife celebrated their 37th wedding Anniversary.

About Jack Degnan

He was affectionately called “Popa Degs” by his wife and children whom he cherished so much. Jack Degnan risked his life to aid a Mercy College student who had fallen onto the Ardsley train tracks on February 27, 2013. Degnan humbly accepted a proclamation from Mayor Brian C. Smith that named July 15 “Jack Degnan Day” in the village of Irvington.

He had an amazing sense of humor that made any space happier, and he was a never-ending source of laughs. He was unique in that he constantly went above and beyond to make others feel special, demonstrating his genuineness and true concern for others. For those who were lucky enough to know him, Jack’s generosity, sense of humor, and knowledge left a lasting impression, making him a beloved figure in the lives of both family and friends.
