Isaiah Granger Death – Isaiah Granger, the motorcyclist that was transported to the hospital from the injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident that happened late on Friday night and into Saturday morning, on Folsom roadway has passed away, he was 20 years old.

At approximately 9:17 p.m., emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Berry Creek Drive and Auburn Folsom Road in response to an incident that had taken place there. There were apparently at least two cars engaged in the event, one of which was a motorcycle, and one of which was a sedan. It was stated that the motorcyclist was unresponsive when emergency personnel got at the scene; however, it was later reported that he was able to communicate with medical personnel while he was being taken with what were characterized as critical injuries.

As of approximately 10:00 o’clock in the evening, the Folsom Police Department informed the public that the southbound lane of Folsom-Auburn Road at the intersection of Berry Creek Drive would stay blocked while they investigated the collision. The road was closed in both directions of Auburn Folsom Road between Oak Avenue Parkway and Inwood Road at 10:46 a. m. after it was initially just closed in one direction.

At the scene of the event, firefighters from the Folsom Fire Department arrived in four separate units, led by a Battalion Chief. After a period of four hours, the incident was reportedly resolved with the assistance of multiple officers from the Folsom Police Department.

After colliding with an SUV early on a Friday morning in Folsom, a biker who was 84 years old sustained serious injuries.  According to the Folsom police, the collision took place at approximately 6:19 a.m. when the SUV rear-ended the biker near the intersection of East Bidwell Street and Oak Avenue Parkway.

The driver of the SUV told the police that it was dark outside at the time of the collision, and that he didn’t notice the biker until it was too late for him to avoid the collision. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital after the collision.

During the investigation, the police have stopped the lanes that head northbound in this region. There has been no further information made public.
