The Unfounded Trend: Debunking the Death Rumors of YouTuber and Twitch streamer Thomas Simons aka Tommyinnit...

Why is ‘Tommyinnit Dead’ trending? Thomas is alive, but unfounded rumors are circulating on social media. Regrettably, this isn’t the initial instance of baseless speculations about his demise being disseminated online. Back in 2020, there was a similar rumor that he had been in a fatal car accident.
To disprove this rumor, Thomas took to Twitter and shared both a tweet and a video, providing evidence of his well-being. However, a year later, another falsehood emerged, asserting that he had succumbed to cancer. Swiftly, his close friends and family members refuted this rumor, firmly quashing any unfounded claims.
Who is Tommyinnit?
TommyInnit, whose real name is Thomas Simons, hails from England and has established himself as a notable British YouTuber and Twitch streamer. Born on April 9, 2004, in Nottingham, he embarked on his online journey by founding his initial YouTube channel in February 2013, under the moniker “channelnutpig.”
Subsequently, in December 2015, he launched a second YouTube channel, aptly named TommyInnit. However, it wasn’t until September 2018 that he uploaded his inaugural video to this channel. A major part of his content revolves around playing Minecraft, a game that he frequently engages with in his videos.
Thomas entered the Twitch streaming scene towards the close of 2018, gradually dedicating more time to streaming on the platform. A significant highlight in his streaming career occurred on January 20, 2021, when he live-streamed the highly anticipated finale of the Dream SMP, attracting an impressive viewership of over 650,000.
His immersion in the Dream SMP Minecraft server commenced on July 4, 2020, after his growing fascination with roleplay in 2019. On August 4, 2022, he made a significant announcement regarding the impending publication of his book, titled “TommyInnit Says…The Quote Book.”
This literary creation made its debut on October 13, 2022. Impressively, he chose to contribute the proceeds from the book’s sales to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, as a tribute to his departed friend, Technoblade.
Beyond his digital pursuits, Thomas expanded his creative horizons by embarking on a comedy sketch tour across the UK from June 7 to 24, 2023. As of July 2023, his online presence continues to flourish, boasting a subscriber count exceeding 10 million on YouTube, coupled with an impressive following of over 7 million on Twitch.
