Diane Downs, who is now 64 years old, was found guilty of killing her three children, Danny, Cheryl, and Christie, in Springfield, Oregon, 35 years ago. She was sentenced to life in prison.

Cheryl, the youngster who was in the centre of Danny and Christie, was the one who did not make it through the onslaught alive. According to Glamour, the prosecution’s argument in court was that Downs’ reason for wanting to get rid of her children was due to the fact that her partner at the time did not want any children of his own.

Downs is now serving her sentence at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, which is located in the state of California.

In May 1983, Diane Downs took her three children to the McKenzie-Willamette Hospital located in Springfield, Oregon. Both of them were covered in blood, and Diane had a wound in her left arm from a bullet.
