Iain Purslow Death – Longtime Bolton Wanderers supporter Iain Purslow has passed away. Iain Purslow was confirmed dead today. He was taken home ill yesterday afternoon during a fixture against Cheltenham Town. He suffered a suspected cardiac arrest during the first half of the game.
The 71-year-old, Iain Purslow, received sustained CPR treatment from medical staff and paramedics at the stadium. Unfortunately, he was later transported to the hospital where he died tragically. Iain, a resident of Oldham, was at the game supporting the Whites alongside his son Stuart.
Club Chaplain Phil Mason stayed with the family throughout the day, and the club is committed to offering them ongoing support and care. They also extend their support to anyone else affected by this distressing incident.
Bolton Wanderers express their deepest sympathies to Iain’s family and loved ones during this incredibly sorrowful time. Iain will be remembered during Wanderers’ FA Cup third-round replay against Luton Town on Tuesday night.
