Horace Holmes, 7News Newscaster and Journalist died at 64

Horace Holmes Death – Horace Holmes, a news anchor who had been a part of the 7News I-Team for a significant amount of time, has gone away. Holmes was 64 years old. He entered into people’s lives, assisted them in finding solutions to issues, and made a large number of friends along the way. Horace’s presence on the air was unlike any other and was unlike anything else.

Over the course of over three decades, Holmes proved to be more than just a radio personality in this community; he was a positive influence. According to Lisa Fletcher, he was the first person to tell you that the most enjoyable aspect of his profession was being able to assist others and directly witness the outcomes of his efforts in the here and now.

Horace, who has been a household figure for decades, brought his brand of consumer advocacy to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). When it came to educating us all about how something as easy as carelessly tossing a boarding permit could be an open invitation to crooks, Horace always found new ways to provide us with information.

The version of Horace that viewers did not always get to see was the one that we knew best; he was jovial, carefree, and always willing to lend an ear to anyone who needed hearing. His life is not judged by the tales he wrote, but rather by the people he impacted. He is one of the most respected journalists in the Washington, District of Columbia area, and he has been working a long time.

Horace Holmes had a large number of friends in this community, as well as friends who would remain with him for the rest of his life within the WJLA family. This was not only due to the fact that he was intelligent, humorous, and extremely capable, but also because he was kind and knew even more than how to be a journalist, such as how to be a friend.

Horace Holmes Obituary and funeral plans will be released by the family…
