The loss of a community member is never easy. But to lose someone with as much quality of character, kindness and passion as Greg Steward is devastating. Today we mourn the loss of this incredible friend, father, husband and REALTOR not only as a company but as a real estate community. Greg’s light will leave a void felt beyond our office and industry but in our hearts as well. We are holding his wife Emina, their beautiful children, and all of Greg’s team members close during this time. We will continue to honor Greg’s memory by finding joy in every day and always treating others with kindness, just like Greg always did. 🤍

The tragic incident happened at approximately 4 p.m., Friday. “What happened? We don’t know. We don’t understand. He was fine, we just got back from vacation, we went to the fair, we woke up, played with Ari, cooked and ate breakfast together. Then he said he had a weird pain in his chest, but he was fine. Then the pain came back, and he was sweating. I dragged him to the ER, just in case it was more than heartburn (he’s so healthy, he’s never even had heartburn).”

“We checked in, he walked down the hallway, and within a minute he fell and hit his head, instantly went into a seizure (our guess is, a massive heart attack or sudden cardiac arrest, based on the chest pain just prior), and that was it. As soon as doctors got to him, no pulse. For an hour, I sat there, helplessly crying and watching 10-15 medical professionals surrounding him and trying every type of CPR and medicine and I just kept hearing them say, no pulse, no pulse, no pulse.”
