Greg Host Death – Grand Valley Manufacturing Project Manager Greg Host of Clarion County, Pennsylvania has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 18th January 2024 at the age of 43 leaving behind his beloved family who will forever miss him. He was confirmed on Facebook through a pots that says “My nephew Greg past away last night. This is such a shock for our family he was only 43. He always knew how to make me smile and his hugs were very special to me’. The actual cause of Greg Host’s death has not been known at this time.
Greg Host Education and Career
He was born to Dana Host Jr. and Victoria (Niederriter) Host on July 9, 1980, in Tionesta. Greg earned his high school diploma from North Clarion in 1998 and his bachelor’s degree in history and secondary education from Clarion University in 2003. After that, he started working as a project manager at Grand Valley Manufacturing in Titusville. Greg was a master at his job supervising complex machinery projects for customers all throughout the country. He became well-known and beloved in the neighborhood, and he became friends with many people.
He took comfort in his love of fishing and hunting, which he frequently shared with his father and other close friends. While hunting deer and bears in his own backyard, he made it an annual tradition to go fishing in Canada. He was an avid member of the Rossey racing squad and had a passion for sprint car racing as well. Even as a young Boy Scout, Greg served his community and earned the prestigious Eagle Scout rank.

He is survied by his wife Toni Forsythe, his parents, his sister Gail Host and her husband Jeffrey Schroer of Brooklyn, NY, and stepchildren Jadyn Forsythe and her fiancé Shawn Strotman and their son Leason, Justin Forsythe and his fiancé Mandi Martin all of Fryburg, PA. Greg was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Paul and Grace Niederritter and Dana A. Host Sr. and Vivian Host, his cousin Christopher J. Stahlman, his aunts Barbara A (Niederriter) Beddow, Elizabeth (Niederriter) Tigani, and his uncle David Niederriter.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Borland-Ensminger Funeral Home, Inc., 32936 PA-66, Leeper, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Helsel of the Good Shepard Church in Tionesta officiating. Interment will follow at Washington Cemetery in Frills Corners, Tionesta.
