Grant Corley Death – Lifelong member of St. Michael Church Grant Corley of Crowley, Louisiana has sadly passed away. He died on Tuesday 9th January 2024 leaving family and friends heartbroken. He was confirmed dead through a post that reads “On behalf of my family, it is with the deepest sadness that I announce the passing of my little brother, Grant Corley. We are filled with sadness and grief at this time, but my brother’s life had enormous meaning”. The actual cause of Grant Corley’s death has not been reveled.
Grant Corley Education and Career
Prior to his enrollment at St. John Berchmans Academy, Grant had previously attended Notre Dame High School and St. Michael School. He is a renowned graduate of the establishment’s first class. The fact that he had been a member of St. Michael Church in Crowley for his whole life was a reflection of his fervent Catholicism, which was characterized by a profound affection for Pope Francis. The talents of Grant as an interior and graphic designer flourished, and he made substantial contributions to the automobile businesses that his family owned and operated, as well as to the well-known Shetler Christmas lights, which were a legacy that was started by his late great-grandfather, Don Shetler.
Grant was a collector with a strong enthusiasm for collecting, and he acquired a wide variety of antiques from both the United States and Europe. These antiques included everything from furniture and stamps to cameras, typewriters, watches, and alarm clocks. One of his most beloved belongings was a collection of family heirlooms that he had grown over the course of his life into a spectacular collection.

Survived by his loving parents Donald and Shawne Keigley Corley of Crowley, his siblings Blake Corley (New Orleans), Madeline Corley (Lake Charles), and Caroline Corley (Crowley) and his grandparents George Corley and Donna Shetler Corley of Crowley and Rebecca Fruge Keigley of Scott. Grant is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kirk Hayden Keigley.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. A Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM and visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church. Rev. Monsignor Keith Derouen will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
