I am deeply saddened and still reeling from learning late last night about the passing of my great friend Gilles Gilbert. Like many of you, I had the pleasure of working with Gilly for 25 years with Canadian Hockey Enterprises and we were very often roommates on the road during those years. He was a PROFESSIONAL through and through. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and it was a good thing because many times he would have to experience some of my wacky skits and extensive practical jokes that sometimes he would be the brunt of at any hour of the night. To my grand ami et gardien e’gal RIP Gilles until we meet again. And we will buddy. God Bless Diane and the entire Gilbert Family at this most difficult time.
