Gabriel Stewart Oakley, Pizza delivery driver shot, killed in Oakley, Police investigating

Gabriel Stewart Death – On Wednesday afternoon, a 24-year-old pizza delivery driver was shot dead while seated in his car, which was parked in front of his residence in Oakley. The victim has been identified as Gabriel Stewart. According to the Oakley Police Department, Gabriel Stewart passed away from gunshot injuries. Stewart’s mother was inside the house at the time he was shot.

Currently, the police have prioritized the investigation into Gabriel Stewart’s death, actively seeking two suspects involved in the incident. One suspect drove the car that approached him around 5 p.m. in the 1400 block of Rutherford Lane, while another individual, after getting out of the car, shot him multiple times at close range.

Gabriel Stewart was on a break from his job delivering pizzas for Domino’s at the time of the tragic incident. As of now, the police have not disclosed any potential motive or described the suspects.

The police department’s investigative unit, along with the assistance of the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab, has been summoned to the scene to conduct a thorough examination.
