Faith Kinaya Death – Family and friends have taken to social media to mourn the death of Faith Kinaya who passed away recently. She died after a deadly car accident on Saturday 12th August 2023 that also left two others injured. The news of her death was known through a post that says “Damn Faith Kinaya I’m so lost for words..We always talk on Snapchat..you sent me this a couple years ago..prayers for your family”.

How did the accident happen?

At approximately 9:30 p.m., officers from the Sterling Heights Police Department made an effort to conduct a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Equinox. As the police pursued the Equinox, the driver fled in the northbound direction on Van Dyke Avenue and 15 Mile Road. According to the police, a collision occurred when a Chevrolet Equinox ran a red light on 16 Mile Road and struck a GMC Terrain. Inside the Terrain were a mother, 31 years old, a father, 31 years old, and a toddler, 2 years old; all three were from the same town of Sterling Heights. The three were taken to the hospital after suffering various injuries.

Sadly, the mother passed away while she was being treated at the hospital. Both the father and the child are in serious condition. The juvenile offender, who was identified as a 16-year-old boy from Detroit, walked away from the collision unscathed and was subsequently brought into custody. A Berkley eatery faced an unfortunate incident on an early Friday morning when a 21-year-old resident from Sterling Heights allegedly drove his vehicle into it under the influence of alcohol. The Berkley police promptly attended to the scene of the accident, which occurred around 2:37 a.m. at The Lunch Café situated on 3116 12 Mile Road.

According to initial findings from the investigation, it seems that the driver had a blood-alcohol concentration exceeding twice the permissible legal limit. Fortunately, the driver emerged from the crash without any injuries, and there were no reported injuries among the bystanders present at the time. Regrettably, the building sustained significant structural damage due to the collision.
