Evan Degroot Death – Luxemburg-Casco High School Alumnus Evan Degroot of Green Bay, Wisconsin has sadly passed away. He died on Tuesday 15th August 2023 at the age of 19 surrounded by his beloved family. He was pronounced dead at St. Vincent Hospital. The news of his death was known through various publications made on Facebook. The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of Evan Degroot’s death has not been known. He was a great person to be around and was loved by many that crossed path with him.

After receiving his diploma from Luxemburg-Casco High School, Evan began working for Dorner Inc. Snowmobiling, shooting pool, playing cards with his grandparents, and hanging out with his buddies were some of his favorite things to do. He particularly enjoyed the time he got to spend with his dog Diesel. His incredible toughness and unflinching determination in the face of hardship are what set him apart from others. He approaches challenges front on and sees obstacles not as roadblocks but as chances for personal development.
At the core of Evan’s character was an earnest yearning to have a constructive influence not only on his neighborhood but also on the world at large. He was always looking for new ways to make a positive impact on the lives of others, whether it is through his work as a volunteer, his duties as a mentor, or his involvement in other social initiatives.

He is survived by his mother, Barb (Prevost) Quandt, father, Steven De Groot, stepfather Larry Quandt, as well as a sibling, James Kay (Fiancé Brianna Bertrand), grandparents, Larry Prevost, Nancy Prevost, Jim and Jeanne De Groot, Aunts and Uncles, Brad Daul, Chris (Ken) Romuald, Pat Giesler, Theresa (Jeremy) Freeman, Brian (Angeles) De Groot, Valerie (Ryan) Hopf, and many other family and friends.
Evan was preceded in death by his aunts, Mary Daul and Susan Prevost. Family and friends may call at Mc Mahon Funeral Home 530 Main Street, Luxemburg, WI 54217 on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A parish memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM. www.mcmahonfh.com.
