Elena Johnston teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools and visual artist has died

Elena Johnston Death –A 38-year-old teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools has tragically passed away. Elena Johnston moved from Havertown, Pennsylvania, to Baltimore, Maryland, in 2002 to get her BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She then went on to get her BA in art education from Towson University and her MA in art teaching at MICA.

She was the kind of person who brought together and moved the arts and music scene forward. People were at their best when she was around, and she was the driving force behind many projects, shows, parties, and get-togethers. That was her nature: she didn’t wait for something to happen for her to be a part of it; she made it happen herself.

More than anything else, she was our dear friend. She toured with us a few times and made art for some of our projects. We had a huge amount of fun together because she helped us believe in ourselves. wonderful artist in pictures Elena Johnston, an artist from Baltimore, looked at “potential and possibility” in her signature pour paintings, which are dynamic and often sculpted acrylic works that she called “meditations on color and the human experience.”

These hypnotic works, which were sometimes floor-to-ceiling, could liven up a room with their stateliness and intensity. They were full of contagious swirls of verve and vivaciousness that could both demand attention and participation, just like the artist did.
