Eastlake Walmart Stabbing: Cuyahoga County man stabbed in the neck at Walmart in Willowick, Ohio

Eastlake Walmart Shooting Investigations – Law enforcement agencies in Willowick, Ohio Thursday. According to reports, a shopper has been transported to an area hospital in a fair condition after a stabbing inside the Walmart located at 33752 Vine St, Willowick, OH. Law enforcement agencies were called to the scene after a shopper was stabbed in the neck this afternoon.

Eastlake Police – On August 17th, 2023 at 1:12 P.M. our department responded to a report of a male stabbing customers at Walmart, 33752 Vine St. Eastlake Ohio, 44095. A 21-year-old male resident of Cuyahoga County was taken into custody. There was only one victim, an adult male who had accompanied the suspect to the store. He was transported to Hillcrest Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident is still under investigation and more details will be released at a later time.

Authorities responded to the scene where the victim was located in the pool of their own blood. Preliminary investigations determined that a male approached the victim and stabbed him in the neck with what appeared to be sharp-edged steel. The victim was listed in fair condition. The identity of the suspect is unknown at this time.
