Eastlake Walmart stabbing – The officials responded to the scene of incident that happened in Eastlake Walmart today, August 17, 2023. Following the incident a victim was injured after the suspect stabbed the unidentified victim on the neck. The cause of the incident is still under investigation by the officials at the time. According to witnesses, there has been records of several criminal incidents in Eastlake Walmart recently.

Theresa Durbin posted on Facebook about the Eastlake Walmart stabbing stating that “Went to Walmart in Eastlake today where I witnessed a stabbing 2 isles away from me!! Such a scary experience!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!! Thank God it wasn’t a gun! Guess I’ll be buying that lamp on Amazon!!” Investigation into the cause of the incident is still ongoing by the officials at the time of this publication. No arrest has been made yet and the victim stabbed in the neck is yet to be identified by the officials.

According to reports from the Columbus Division of Police, a man was stabbed to death on the south side of the city on Friday night. Shortly after 11 o’clock in the evening, police were dispatched to the vicinity of South High School and the 600 block of East Stewart Avenue after receiving information that a person had been stabbed there. Officers who arrived on the scene reported finding a man, later identified by the authorities as James Cummings, who was unresponsive and suffering from multiple stab wounds.

At 11:40 o’clock in the evening, after being taken to a hospital in the area, he was pronounced dead there. There has been no one taken into custody.
