A shooting spree in Tennessee on Sunday resulted in the deaths of four of the suspect’s female relatives and left a fifth person in critical condition, according to the police. The suspect later shot himself in the head while he was on the run from the law.

According to the Memphis Police Department, after a manhunt that followed gunshots at three different sites in Memphis that left three ladies and a teenage girl dead and another teenage girl badly injured, officers discovered the corpse of Mavis Christian Jr., who was 52 years old, inside of his vehicle.

The police stated that Christian had a connection to the victims, but they were unable to quickly clarify how that connection existed. The identities of the victims have not been made public at this time.
