Road closed, heavy police presence outside Drogheda Institute of Further Education near Moneymore
Drogheda Institute of Further Education Shooting Investigations – A heavy police presence is currently outside the Drogheda Institute of Further Education near Moneymore village. According to reports, Gardai is investigating shooting incident that happened at the Drogheda Institute of Further Education campus.
Following the incident, a heavy police incident is currently outside Drogheda Institute of Further Education located in The Twenties, Drogheda and in the area of Moneymore in Co. Louth, Ireland. Residents say at leat two people have been in the incident. Residents are been urged to avoid the Scotch Hall and areas near the school campus.
Police helicopters are also hovering over the campus area where Gardai is actively searching for suspect(s) involved in the incident. UPDATE: Gardai say no death has been confirmed in the incident and that situation is under control. According to information, the incident involved an alleged mentally unwell male outside the hospital.
