Dennis Bangart Death – MACCI Agri-Business Committee Chairman Dennis Bangart of Loyal, Wisconsin has sadly passed away. He died on Wednesday 1st November 2023 after complications related to his leukemia diagnosis at the age of 41 surrounded by his beloved family. He was confirmed dead through a post that says “When Wood County hosted Farm Technology Days in 2018, literally hundreds of people volunteered their time to make the show a success, but none more than Dennis Bangart”.
Dennis Bangart Education and Career
Dennis Edward Bangart, born on November 12, 1981, was the offspring of Donald and Patricia (Rueth) Bangart. His early years were spent on the family farm in Auburndale, where he attended St. Mary’s Catholic School. Graduating as Salutatorian from Auburndale High School, Dennis actively participated in 4-H, FFA, and Jr Holstein memberships. His educational journey culminated at UW-River Falls, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science, graduating with Summa Cum Laude Honors.
Dennis’s professional endeavors led him to a role as a VP Loan Officer at AgCountry Farm Credit Services. His deep-rooted passion for agriculture was reflected in his involvement as a member of the Wood County Holstein Breeders and his past chairmanship of the State Show, hosted in Marshfield. He dedicated numerous years to chairing the esteemed Purple Ribbon Classic Heifer Sale each spring. Additionally, Dennis was an active participant in the Loyal FFA Alumni community.
Dennis Bangart Obituary
Dennis is survived by his wife Sarah and three young children Luciana 4, Hendrick 3, and Loretta 9 months. His father, Donald Bangart of Greenwood, his siblings David (Amber) of Greenwood and their children, Adalyn, Cole and Danika, Mary (Michael) Ketchum of Altura, MN, and their daughters Katelyn and Kyli Ketchum, and Michelle “Mikki” (Darrin) Wirt of Lewiston, MN. As well as many other special relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Bangart and his in-laws Ronald and Lana Siegel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, November 8th at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Loyal. Rev. Steve Brice will officiate and burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis’ lifelong friends. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 7th, from 3:30 pm until 8 pm, starting with a rosary service, and at the church, on Wednesday from 9:00 am until time of service.
