What was David Vertis Dye’s cause of death?
After the bodies of three persons were discovered inside a house in Crittenden, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office has begun an investigation into the matter. The bodies of the three individuals were discovered inside the mobile home that they had on Indian Hill Drive. According to the investigators, the owner of the house installed a generator after the electricity was switched off to the residence many weeks ago.
Investigators, however, stated that the park does not permit generators, so they placed the generator in the bedroom located in the back of the house. It was while the victims were sleeping in the front of the house that the odors began to permeate throughout the house. According to the investigators, one of the victims appeared absent from work, and by the time a member of their family arrived to check on them, it was already too late.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has determined that the victims are David Vertis Dye, age 53, from Crittenden; David Vertis Lee Dye, age 21, also from Crittenden; and Aubrie Hope McGovney, age 20, from Covington. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, it appears that carbon monoxide was the cause of death in these cases. There is no suspicion of any wrongdoing. After some time has passed, an autopsy will be carried out on each of the three fatalities in order to ascertain the reason for their passing.
David Dye, David Dye, and Aubrie McGovney’s obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by their families at a later date.
