David de Nitto Death: Police in Phoenix, Arizona say a 47-year-old man has passed away by suicide after shooting and killing two women on Christmas Eve. David de Nitto died from a self-inflicted gunshot injury after fatally shooting 47-year-old Maryalice Cash and 83-year-old Cynthia Domini. The tragic incident happened in Sunday night.

According to law enforcement agencies, officers were called to the scene in the area of Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. for a shots fired report. According to the department, arriving officers located three individuals dead with a gunshot sound each to their bodies.

Preliminary investigation determined that the man shot and killed the two women before turning the weapon on himself. According to Phoenix Police say the suspect and the 47-year-old woman were in a relationship. An argument occurred during a family gathering during the Christmas holiday and David fatally shot the two women before killing himself.

“It is impossible to comprehend a tragedy such as this. Words cannot adequately express the flood of sorrow. I ask the community to join me in praying for the families affected and, most especially, Allister’s children. I also ask that the community surround the families with love, kindness, and a respect for the need for privacy,” Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said.
