They are known as Donald Molander, Kimberly Molander, Miranda Molander, and Dane Molander, and they are from Middletown in Dauphin County. James Shade, who was from Martinsburg, West Virginia, was the driver of the tractor trailer and also passed away. The five victims were pronounced dead after the ATV traffic collision on I-81.

On Interstate 81, state police say an RV suffered a flat tire, which caused it to cross the median and collide with a tractor trailer pulling double trailers. Dane Molander, a 19-year-old driver who was killed on Wednesday along with his parents and sister in a cross-over accident on Interstate 81 in Franklin County that also resulted in the death of the tractor-trailer driver. According to the state police, the collision also claimed the life of a dog.
