Danbury Stabbing; Man and woman killed in an apparent murder-suicide

Danbury Stabbing; – A man stabbed a woman multiple times before turning the knife on himself on High Ridge Road on Friday. According to Danbury Police Capt. Joseph LeRose, both the man and the woman were transported to Danbury Hospital, but both ultimately succumbed to their injuries there.
The identities of the two people have not been revealed by the police; nevertheless, they were said to be in a romantic connection and to have resided together on High Ridge Road. According to the police, a Danbury police officer was on patrol in the area of Mill Ridge Road when he heard a verbal argument taking place near the intersection of High Ridge Road and Scuppo Road. According to the police, the witness spotted a man standing over a woman who was lying in the road when he pulled his vehicle onto High Ridge Road to investigate.
According to the police, the officer got out of his vehicle to offer help, at which point the man reportedly turned toward the officer while wielding a knife of the survival type. According to what LeRose said, the man then stabbed himself in the chest before falling to the ground.
According to LeRose, the investigating officer discovered evidence that the man had stabbed the victim multiple times.
