Some sad news to pass along. My grandfather Curtis Lee Wyatt Sr. passed away. He was 89 years old. I’m so thankful that I was able to spend so many years with him and that Landen got to spend time with him. When I was a little boy he would take me on fishing trips along the rivers in Demopolis. He took me and my brother on trips to the beach. Even well into my 40s, I was blessed to still enjoy adventures together. He loved the great outdoors. We enjoyed so many memories over the years that I’ll forever cherish. When I visited him over the past few weeks, it was hard holding back the tears. I could see he’d been watching his grandson, with the TV in front of his bed always on Fox6. Grandparents are so special. Cherish every moment you have with loved ones, make time to be with those you love, and give them a big hug. I’ll be out today and Monday to spend time with family. A special thanks to the team for covering evening weather for me. Thank you to everyone who has reached out for your kind words and condolences.
