Corey Skinner Death – HYLO Fitness Mount Pleasant coach Corey Skinner of Charleston, South Carolina has sadly passed away. He died on Friday 5th January 2024 after suffering a heart attack on Monday January 2024 that led to a him having a triple bypass. He was confirmed dead by HYLO Fitness through a Facebook post that reads “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Coach Corey. During this difficult time, our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of experiencing his extraordinary presence”.

Corey Skinner Education and Career

After completing his high school education at Eastern Wayne High School in 2009, Corey Skinner went on to pursue his education at Anchorage Christian School, from which he graduated in this year (2012). Between the months of October 2014 and January 2015, he attended the University of Maryland Global Campus to pursue a degree in criminal justice. Between the years 2012 and October 2015, he was employed by Defender Magazine. Between the dates of August 5, 2019, and January 2020, he worked as an Instructor at F45 Training Mount Pleasant. Later in his career, he was employed with TQL Total Quality Logistics. His position at HYLO Fitness Mount Pleasant was that of a Coach.

Everyone who had the opportunity to interact with him held him in high esteem since he was always a joy to be around.

Corey Skinner GoFundMe

On Tuesday, the 2nd of January 2024, Hylo Fitness established a GoFundMe account on behalf of Crystal Flory to support Corey Skinner’s medical expenses and other expenses. The total amount that has been raised so far through the campaign is $45,217, with the largest donation being $1,000. The goal of the fundraiser was set to raise the sum of 45,000, so far 812 donations have been made to the account.

An excerpt from the account says “Corey Skinner has been an integral part of the HYLO Fitness family since the beginning. On New Years Day, Corey suffered a massive heart attack, which led to a full-day of triple bypass open-heart surgery. He is currently fighting for his life in a medically-induced coma at MUSC”.
