Colin Kennedy Death – Colin Kennedy, a resident of Stamford, Connecticut, and a Public Safety Dispatcher at the Stamford Combined 911 Center passed away tragically on Friday, June 30th, 2023. He was 47 years old at the time of his death. What was Colin Kennedy’s cause of death?
The Connecticut State Police said that Colin D. Kennedy, 47, of Stamford, died around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023, on I-95 after swerving out of his lane and colliding head-on with another vehicle. Richard Conklin, assistant chief of the Stamford Police Department, said that Kennedy had been a 911 dispatcher for the city since October 2005. An investigation revealed that Kennedy was traveling north in a 2017 Ford Mustang when he went across all lanes and struck the concrete median barrier after drifting into the right shoulder and hitting the metal beam railing.
The car subsequently lost control in the left lane and collided head-on with another 2019 Infiniti being driven by a Stamford woman. Kennedy was taken to Stamford Hospital where, according to state police, he passed away around 2:30 a.m. The Infiniti’s driver was brought to Greenwich Hospital after suffering minor injuries.
