Colin Blayney Death – Colin Blayney, a resident of Avon Lake, Ohio, and a Technology Director at St. Raphael Parish and School has tragically passed away. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of COLIN BLAYNEY, our technology director both at the school and at the parish.” St. Raphael Parish said as they expressed their thoughts and love to Colin’s family.

What was Colin Blayney’s cause of death?

According to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Elyria Post, a 36-year-old man from Avon Lake perished in a single vehicle collision that happened that evening on January 18. The announcement stated that Colin E. Blayney passed away at the scene. According to the announcement, troopers from the Elyria Post responded to a fatal single-vehicle collision on Lake Road, commonly known as U.S. Route 6, close to Vineyard Road, at 9:09 p.m.

According to the announcement, Blayney struck two utility poles after he veered off the right side of the road while driving a 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 west on Route 6. It was stated in the release that Blayney was not using a seat belt. According to an Avon Lake Police Department news release, investigators concluded that driving too fast caused the collision.

According to the announcement, troopers examined the incident for three hours while Route 6 was closed. The Avon Lake Police Department, Avon Lake Fire Department, Avon Lake EMS, L&M Towing, and Ohio Edison all provided support to the Highway Patrol on the incident.
